DSE and ergonomic assessments

Our Ergonomic Workstation Assessment aims to identify factors that may be contributing to work-related pain. This includes anything that could be aggravating, contributing or even causing an employee to have discomfort whilst working with DSE equipment.

The ergonomic workstation assessment is designed to go beyond DSE compliance for workstation users, addressing specific aspects of workstation set-up, including measurements and photographs to produce a more detailed picture. Our staff are fully trained DSE assessors with extensive product knowledge and experienced in making early ergonomic interventions. Following the assessment, a detailed report will be provided to the referrer, along with a list of recommended interventions. Should any specialist equipment be necessary, a quotation will also accompany the report.

Our assessment services range from basic DSE assessments required under the H&S regulations to advanced ergonomic assessments including labs, home workers and company vehicle users.
Assessments can be arranged via our simple online form, at which point we will contact the employee to arrange a mutually convenient time for the assessment. Most assessments take approximately one hour, where all the relevant background information will be taken.

Level 1 DSE Risk Assessment – 20min
This is our simplest workstation assessment designed to comply fully with DSE regulations. The assessment will highlight any basic issues with the current ergonomic setup.

Level 2 Ergonomic Workstation Assessment (45min – 1 hour)
An in-depth workstation assessment designed to help improve the working environment for users with musculoskeletal complaints. Ergonomic products can be considered as part of this assessment at the request of the referrer.
