The VELA Tango 300 is a work chair developed for users who weigh up to 200kg. The chair enhances the users’ level of activity, ability to get around without assistance and independence. A unique brake system ensures a stable work place, and smoothly running wheels mean that the user can ‘walk’ the chair whilst in the seated position. The chair is robust and can withstand heavy weight, intense movements and restless users.

Designed for users with obesity, back problems, difficulty walking and involuntary movements
The chair's electric height adjustment assists to user to get out of and into the chair independently. Whilst sitting in the chair, the user can easily adapt their sitting height for different activities
Comes with a ‘XXX’ seat as standard (58cm W x 48 cm D) and a ‘CX’ backrest (38cm W x 43cm H)

CY seat
The CY seat (W:47xD:49 cm) is a comfortable, padded seat with a rounded front. The user enjoys good, supportive sitting comfort, and the seat design also ensures good blood flow to the legs.

XX seat
The XX-seat (W: 49xD: 46 cm) is a wide padded seat with a rounded front. The seat depth creates a good and supportive seating comfort for the user, while the shape of the seat ensures a good blood flow to the legs.

XXX seat
The XXX seat (W: 58xD: 48 cm) is an extra wide padded seat with a rounded leading edge that ensures good blood flow to the legs. The design and size of the seat gives the user a comfortable and supportive seating comfort.

CX-Backrest
CX backrest (W:38xH43 cm). A high backrest with flat shape. The angle of the back can be adjusted and locked at a fixed angle, for optimal lumber support.

CY-Backrest
CY backrest (W:43xH:45 cm). The backrest has a high back with rounded top edge and a sliding bolt fixture for locking the back at a fixed angle, making it easier to achieve optimal lumbar support.

Cover for seats - fabric
Loose seat cover. The cover is breathable, hygienic and washable, and can easily be removed and washed in the washing machine. It is available in several colours and types of fabric.

Loose seat cover in waterproof terry cloth
Loose seat cover in waterproof terry cloth. This cover is suitable for users who spill a lot at mealtimes and those who suffer from incontinence. The cover is breathable, hygienic and washable, and can easily be removed and washed in the washing machine.

Brake pedal - uni
The brake pedal can be used instead of a brake lever or together with a brake lever. The brake pedal is located on the back of the chair and is foot-operated. The pedal is an advantage if a standing person has to brake the chair without unnecessary bending or compromising postures. A brake pedal can be an advantage when using a push handle.

Extension to the brake stick - Uni
An extension to the brake stick is an advantage for the user in a high sitting position or where the user has difficulties reaching a standard brake stick.

T-brake lever - Uni
The T-brake lever extends the brake lever, making it easier for people with disabilities, e.g. in the shoulders, to operate the brake.

Head support
Head support with leather pad (W:26xH:13 cm). The head support has stepless adjustment for height, angle and lateral position. It can be fitted only on high backrests such as the CY backrest and CX backrest.

Push bar with foam handle
Push bar with foam handle, which makes the carer´s work easier, for example when the user needs to be moved in the chair. The push bar is fitted to the backrest arm at the desired height.

Manually operated electric adjustment
Manually operated electric adjustment of seat height. Manual operation is useful when the chair is operated by healthcare staff or a personal carer. The spiral cable makes it possible to stand by the chair where it is most convenient for the patient and carer, when adjusting the height. Contact box can also be purchased with magnetic suspension.
