The VELA Tango 700E with Power Assist Wheels provides all the benefits of a VELA chair with the option to turn on the Power Assist Wheels by simply using a joystick controller to provide extra assistance with manoeuvring the chair when energy levels are low. The joystick operation also gives greater directional control when manoeuvring the chair.
The standard features of a Tango 700E, such as the electric Hi-lo lift, easy access brake lever and seat and back tilt functions are not compromised by the addition of Power Assist Wheels. Additionally, the Power Assist Wheels can be retrofitted to any existing Tango 700E, so don’t worry if you already have a chair, you will not miss out!

The VELA Tango 700E with Power Assist Wheels has an electric lift that moves up and down at the touch of a button ensuring easy access to high shelves and low cupboards in environments such as the kitchen. The lift also assists the user with getting up and out of the chair. The easy access brake lever locks the chair into position allowing for safe and stable transfers, helping to reduce the risk of trips or falls.
The Power Assist Wheels, operated via a joystick control, provide power assistance and makes it easier to move/walk the chair around as well as increased directional control.
