I have Fibromyalgia and back issues. The main symptoms that affect me are widespread pain and stiffness, inflamed lumbar and sacral joints and fatigue. These cause me mobility problems with moving around and getting up and down. I can't stand for very long and I need to conserve energy to do more enjoyable things.
I enjoy paper crafting and I need to be up and down at my desk using my craft supplies and equipment. The Vela chair enables me to move around my room without having to get up, helps me to sit and stand safely and reach items I need. Not needing to be constantly up and down helps me to conserve energy and therefore have more time for crafting.
I feel I will also find it useful for doing things in the kitchen that I haven't been able to do for a long time due to my health problems.
The chair is very easy to use and I feel it will make a big improvement to my life both now and in the future.
