The VELA Salsa 120 is a sit-stand chair with an ergonomic, curved seat with a V-shaped front edge which ensures the user’s thighs are well support with plenty of room. The VELA Salsa 120 is particularly suitable for:

Activities which are carried out whilst standing and therefore require support and stability, such as cooking
Individuals with back problems or walking difficulties who need additional support
Comes with a ‘Midi’ seat as standard (B:40 x L:35 cm) and an ‘Ergo’ backrest (B:38 x L:22 cm)
The Vela Salsa 120 has an ergonomic, curved backrest with good padding which provides good, flexible lumbar support. The ‘Y’ backrest is a low backrest, which allows for free movement of the back, shoulders and arms for various activities

VELA Salsa 120 accessories

Y backrest
Y backrest (W:37xH:30 cm). An ergonomic, curved backrest with good padding, which provides good, flexible lumbar support. The Y backrest is a low backrest, which allows for free movement of the back, shoulders and arms for various activities.

Loose cover for backrest
Loose cover for seat. The cover is hygienic, washable and can easily be removed and washed in the washing machine. It is available in fabric or waterproof plastic, which is useful e.g. in the case of incontinence.

Cover for Midi-seat
Loose cover for backrest. The cover is hygienic, washable and can easily be removed and washed in the washing machine. It is available in fabric or waterproof plastic.

Ergon armrest - 8x26cm - extra long
Extra long armrest bar (41 cm long). Beneficial for tall people. The armrest bar allows for the armrests to be used as support, e.g. when getting into or out of the chair.

Footrest
A foot bar provides stability when the user is sitting high up and needs support for the feet.

Note:
Can not be retrofitted.

T-brake grip
The T-brake lever extends the brake lever, making it easier for people with disabilities, e.g. in the shoulders, to reach the brake.

Brake pedal
The brake pedal can be used instead of a brake lever or together with a brake lever. The brake pedal is located on the back of the chair and is foot-operated. The pedal is an advantage if a standing person has to brake the chair without unnecessary bending or compromising postures.
