The VELA Tango Electric Sit-stand is a chair for individuals who need support and safety in a standing position, even in cases of reduced leg strength. The short seat with a raised pommel holds and supports the user and makes it easy to get close to furniture such as kitchen tables, worktops etc.

The electric height adjustment ensures that the user is supported regardless of whether they need to reach low-down or high-up places. The central brake makes the chair stable, which ensures that work in home areas, such as the kitchen, can be carried out safely and is ideal for:

Individuals with stiff hip joints, obesity or stability problems for whom a shallow seat with raised lip provides optimum support

Delta seat
The Delta seat (W:46xL:35 cm) is a shallow, ergonomically curved seat which supports and stabilises the user.

Kap-seat
The Kap seat with raised lip (B:46xL:35 cm), so the user avoids the feeling of sliding down the seat when it is tilted forward. The chair allows the user to get close up to their work.

S150 seat
The S150 seat (B:46xL:32 cm) is an extra shallow seat with a heavily padded, rounded front edge for better blood circulation in the legs. The chair allows the user to get close up to their work.

Ergo Backrest
The Ergo backrest (W:38xH:22 cm) is an ergonomic curved backrest, which provides good lumbar support. The backrest is low, which allows the user free movement of the back, shoulders and arms for various activities.

Y backrest
Y backrest (W:37xH:30 cm). An ergonomic, curved backrest with good padding, which provides good, flexible lumbar support. The Y backrest is a low backrest, which allows for free movement of the back, shoulders and arms for various activities.

Loose cover - raised lip
Loose cover for seat with raised lip. The cover is hygienic, washable and can easily be removed and washed in the washing machine. It is available in fabric or waterproof plastic, which is useful e.g. in the case of incontinence.

Ergon armrest Electric - 9x30 cm - extra long
Ergon armrests (W:9xL:30 cm) with extra long armrest bar (41 cm) for electrically adjustable chairs are useful for tall users who require good support from the armrests when getting into or out of the chair. They are also beneficial for users with a long upper body combined with short arms, e.g. users with dwarfism.

A flip switch is useful if you want visible buttons or want to choose the location of the switch yourself. The armrest is easily folded down, e.g. for sideways transfer, or help with getting dressed. The height and lateral position of the armrests can be adjusted. 4-wheel brake
A 4-wheel brake frame is suitable for users who are very restless, or if the chair is standing on an uneven surface. The frame ensures optimal braking on all four wheels, even if the chair is on an uneven surface.

Brake pedal
The brake pedal can be used instead of a brake lever or together with a brake lever. The brake pedal is located on the back of the chair and is foot-operated. The pedal is an advantage if a standing person has to brake the chair without unnecessary bending or compromising postures. A brake pedal can be an advantage when using a push handle.

Electric brake kit
An electric brake, operated using an easily accessible flip switch. This brake is suitable for users who are unable to operate a brake stick. An electric brake can help to ensure the user is as independent as possible – an advantage for carers as well as the user. The electric brake is available for the 2-wheel as well as the 4-wheel brake frame.

Extension to the brake stick
An extension to the brake stick is an advantage for the user in a high sitting position or where the user has difficulties reaching a standard length brake stick.

T-brake grip
The T-brake lever extends the brake lever, making it easier for people with disabilities, e.g. in the shoulders, to reach the brake.

Wider front castors
Front castors (100 mm) with 3,1cm wide lanes are suitable when VELA Tango chair is used e.g. on a tile floor, floor with large joints or uneven floor. Due to the wide castors, the chair can run easier when you push the chair forwards or move around in the chair e.g. on narrow joints in the tile floor.

Fold-out foot bar
Fold-out foot bar which can be folded up so that it is not in the way when the user gets into and out of the chair. This foot bar is useful for achieving a good sitting posture and, at the same time, resting the feet when a high sitting position is required.

Arthritis grip
The Arthritis grip can make it easier to operate height adjustment and tilt if, for example, you have reduced strength or mobility in the hands and arms.

Anti-tip bar
The anti-tip bar provides the chair with extra stability, which is useful when the chair is used for cycling exercises or for users with violent movements. The bar is fitted behind the chair and ensures that the chair cannot tip over backwards.
